If your senses tell you it does not taste good why deny your senses?

Interesting many will look to ways to make something appeal to their taste and digest such so called foods because they were told it is what is healthy or that the body needs this food substance for whatever ailment they may have. Yet, the body clearly tells you by tasting that it does not desire such. The mind is useful  not as much so when it is so foolish that it does not listen to the body.

If we do not desire a food in its raw natural form without additives to make it palatable then the body is telling you it does not desire the food nor is it something you need for health or wellness.

Are natural instincts and senses know what we need to know listen to them strengthen them through raw natural fruits from nature and you will know in the moment what to do to take care of you!

I think kids like eating paste because it is often made of wheat

Hmm… think paper mache.

Wheat affects the opiate receptors.

Hmm… numbed down by the baker.

The glue or wheat slowly slithers through the intestines hindering

the absorption of the vitals we need to maintain a healthy body.

When we block and constipate our bowels and colon we do not make ease…

Gluten sounds like glue to me and it does not make for smooth ease

as it goes through… your intestines it makes disease.

Make ease in your gut and you will have ease in your body and ease in your mind!

“Soul Searching…” not so

Broken distraction on the go…

We do not search for what we are.

We break the routine of what we are not.

We listen and answer to what we are and have always been.

We avoid the voice that has no choice but to be a slave to its routine of mundane.

We’re alive not intoxicated on food, drink and medicines that leave us empty and disconnected.

We do not look to these escapes from ourselves we love ourselves.

You deserve to love yourself not abuse through food substances that leave you less connected to you.

Look forward to being you! Many times digesting less will bring you closer to you rather than

identifying with your weekend substance foods and drinks and such that take you away from you and life.

The search is over you are above it all not hidden underneath what is not you anymore and truthfully never was.

You are free or you are a prisoner of your own making.

Do you identify with what does not serve your soul?

Do you identify that which does not serve your vehicle(body)?

Do you identify with that which does not serve your mind?

Identify with your soul for it is you!

Listen it knows more than you can possibly ever think!

The search is as simple as taking away what you are not,

Then the soul you are and have always been will shine through…

It’s not a matter of fighting disease.

It is a matter of creating ease.

Ease of digestion.

Ease of assimilation.

Ease of elimination.

Ease of mind.

Ease of body.

Ease of emotion.

Ease of stress.

Concentrate on making ease in your life.

We fight the fight by focusing on our health and keeping and making it simple.

The body will heal the body it truthfully is all that has ever healed it.

Stop hating and empowering disease.

Stop embracing and identifying with it.

You are not your disease you are health.

Focus on you and the all powerful love that you are.

Create ease in your life through your diet and your thoughts this will allow for your body to heal itself!

Given the optimal chemical elements ( Which are natural fruits
and vegetables in their raw form derived from the most fertile
organic land available) the human body can heal very, very
fast once you have established a solid healthy and well body.

 

These words mean nothing until you
experience what they have stated!

 

My experience with diet and health is all I speak of
when I speak of this subject. There is no reason now to
tell me what any dr. or professional or book tells me is
optimal for my health in most cases. I am happy that many
have, even though there is more mis-information about
health and diet than there is truth. Having tried and tested
many of dr.’s and professionals advice has led me to more
experience and greater understanding of this subject.
Having spent the last nine years at times unheathily
obcessed with the subject of health searching for some
difinitive answers, I have arrived  to what I feel is
the essential foundation for the human body to build
optimally in any direction you so choose.
I really think that Buddha has the best advice and
one that I have followed to arrive at this understanding.

 

“Don’t blindly believe what I say. Don’t believe me because
others convince you of my words. Don’t believe anything
you see, read, or hear from others, whether of authority,
religious teachers or texts. Don’t rely on logic alone,
nor speculation. Don’t infer or be deceived by appearances.”

 

“Do not give up your authority and follow blindly the will
of others. This way will lead to only delusion.”

 

“Find out for yourself what is truth, what is real.
Discover that there are virtuous things and there are
non-virtuous things. Once you have discovered for
yourself give up the bad and embrace the good.”

Give yourself the greatest gift you can give to yourself the truth!

 

I imagine looking back at the last decade as a prolog.  Now!  The Journey continues…

It is insane to not think that the chemicals we put into our bodies do not cause

mental and emotional anguish. Many have cured themselves of mental

disorders by switching their diets to a natural, pure diet of fruits and vegetables.

I do not know that it works for all illness, but it will make it much more manageable in

many. America as a nation is way over medicated  for every  little ill feeling

that arises. I am speaking mostly of the anti-depression, anxiety and emotional

type medications in this post. Although any pills that are taken to avoid

persistent pain should be evaluated to correct the cause rather than avoid the

symptoms. Pain, discomfort, depression, anxiety are all symptoms of a

problem not to be masked and band aided by a pill that blocks the symptom.

In doing so, the underlying problem still exist and will come out again one way

or another. Pain is the bodies way of telling you there is a problem. The pain is

not the problem. Pain is the indicator. Getting rid of the pain by blocking your

ability to feel it does not correct the problem. There are many that get off of

these medications that cause severe problems and recover their sanity through a

vegetarian or vegan diet. The medical approach and procedure should be to

establish a natural foundation within the body first and foremost before going

to medications. I guess the idea with these medications is to supress or avoid all emotions.

I know this is a complaint I have heard from many who have taken them for

depression. They don’t like feeling nothing/no emotions. So, they want off of

them and when they try to get off of them violence occurs. Well, heres the thing

that does not work. Emotions are what make us human. Through drugs and

chemicals we make unhumans and then wonder why we have such

inhuman acts? Absurd! We must take back our health and be responsible for

the health of our children. Don’t tell me this bullshIt that the medications help your son

or daughter and it was our last resort if you did not first try a natural vegetarian

or vegan diet! This is a very sensitive subject I know and what I say may piss

some off ,but it has to be said! It’s a taboo subject in many ways. Very few talk

about the fact they are on pills like this let alone talk openly about their children

being on such. The mentality that I just want my son or daughter back to

him/herself is understandable. The fact that you want to not be depressed

anymore and want it over now is understandable. The problem is in the thinking

that there is a quick fix via medications. The chemicals you put in over years via

diet very well are enhancing and in many cases outright causing the problems!

The cure is the bodies natural healing which will occur upon restoring its balance

through a balanced diet of natural whole foods. If you have a chemical imbalance

don’t you think you should maybe straighten out the chemicals you are

putting in rather than add new chemicals to further disturb the imbalance.

Please I urge you to look to the chemicals/foods you put into your body as a

cause to many if not all of your health issues. I would also urge anyone that

is caught up in medications and know they are not truly helping, to find  a

way with the help of a naturopathic physician to get off of them and establish

a nature whole food based diet. Covert to a vegetarian or vegan diet before

getting caught up in the medications and further jeopardizing your health.

The quick fix is seldom the longterm fix for ones health. The body does not

fill with disease and illness overnight nor does it  heal immediately.

Take care of yourself, Take care of your loved ones, spread the message and

share the truth, love and understanding amongst us all!

So I tried something new and fasted for 48 hours. I have only drank water for the last 2 days. Amazingly, I have had a very great experience.

 

I took it kinda easy the first day yet, I did walk a couple of miles and did attend a yoga class other then that I read and took it easy getting in

 

more tune with my body. My yoga class was one of the best ones I ever attended I felt tremendous amounts of joy. The whole fasting

 

experience was full of joy quite often. I was surprised that I have not felt to much hunger or cravings for food. There were some but I guess I put

 

myself into the mindset of seeing this through for the betterment of my health and not as some sort of sacrifice or as depriving myself of food. I did have

 

some dreams of food and of eating It seemed tougher in the dreamworld more so then in my waking world. Perhaps That is where I dealt with

 

some of the tougher times which then allowed me to enjoy the fast. I honestly did enjoy it so much I decided I was

 

going to go for a run today. I was not sure what this would do but I felt it was what I should do, so I did.

 

I ran 5 miles at what would be hour 42 of the water fast. Running on empty was surprisingly one of the most amazing joyful runs I have ever

 

had. I was smiling and loving it all the way. I went into the gym and thought lets have a go at some pull-ups. I have been working on those

 

since the winter and the maximum I have done at one time was 5 or maybe 6. Today I was able to do ten no problem.

 

I do not recommend for anyone to do what I do. I do recommend getting in touch with your intuition and listening to it and your body then you can

 

never go wrong no matter how outlandish it may seem. I do recommend to push the limits of yourself to question everything you think you know and

 

to try knew things in life. This has been my third fast ever the other two were for 24 hours. This by far has been the most enjoyable body and mind

 

learning experience of the three. Maybe next spring I will go for a week fast who knows I will have to see that then for now, I know I have made the

 

right decisions. I am now at hour 46 and still feel quite well and not overly hungry. Energy wise I still have much. Who would have thought?

 

Not me! You never know nothing new until you try something new. I do look forward to eating in 2 hours though!

The other day having read a post by a facebook friend of mine

“The best runners are the ones that can suffer better.” by Gary Allen,

an experienced marathon athlete /motivational speaker who has done

a sub 3 hour marathon in  5 consecutive decades. It got me thinking about

my views on this. Having read the responses, I  realized that I think

quite differently  then  many about this. I really don’t think there is one right

way or wrong way to look at it. Whatever works for you, works for you. I do think

in sharing our different views we can learn from one another.

 

 

Running to me is not about pain or suffering and not about shutting off parts

of my brain from feeling the pain.

Addiction is  about suffering and pain.

Running is not an addiction to me.

I worked hard to cure myself of many addictions.

I make sure running is not one of them.

I see running as a healthy habit.

Addiction in many ways is the embracing of pain as a form of pleasure.

Addictions give short term pleasure and long term pain.

Healthy habits are the opposite short term pain, long term pleasure.

When I run more  times then not, there is no pain at all just pleasure.

Yet,  to say there is no pain in running would be  a lie.

When pushing your self limits there is what I like to refer to as discomfort, not exactly pain.

I feel running addiction is something to beware of, something to watch out for in yourself.

It is easy  to go through life quitting one addiction then developing a different one.

The transfer of an addiction to running addiction could be a considerably tricky one,

in which you may think you are doing something good for your health.

We must check ourselves as to what we are running from here?

The root cause so to speak.

With many addictions we are doing a substance or habit to avoid some pain, yet

in return it is causing us  long term pain on top of the pain we are  avoiding.

In my mind, if running were to be about pain and suffering it would be almost exactly like  addiction.

 

 

So how does one suffer better  to become a better runner?

Initially my short sightedness did not see the truth in this statement.

To some it may mean suffering more and fighting through that suffering.

To others it maybe conquering suffering through engaging pleasure.

Either way the wisdom and words of the experienced athlete Gary Allen ring true.

I think with running and with much of life we will find that there are many different ways to do things.

It’s our jobs as individuals to find  out what works best for us.

 

So what is running to me?

 

It is my love and my passion.

It is  my gift to  myself as it is my gift to the world.

It is a constant attempt and pursuit to the  perfection of the mind, body and soul.

It is overcoming difficulty not  by adding suffering but by adding pleasure.

At times it reminds me of a hurricane where there is pain and chaos all around but,

if I  persist and push through the discomfort and see it in the best of light I will

arrive in the eye of the hurricane.

This is where I strive to go.

This is where there is peace and tranquility.

This is where I feel overwhelming pleasure.

I do not look for this perfect place outside of me, I look for it and find it inside of me.

Within this state of grace there is no pain, just pleasure.

Running to me is about love and pleasure.

This I find most powerful!

This is what I run with!

This will be the fourth year that I will be giving up meat for the entire lent period. I am not of any particular religion nor do I have a problem with any of them. I have friends  that are: catholics, christians, buddhist, jewish, islamic, agnostics, atheist and have many other religion and spiritual beliefs.

I am very spiritual and believe in many different aspects of many religions. I do believe in many of the teaching of Christ and Buddha. I do not believe so much in the traditional Christian religious beliefs. The dogma and condemning of many of these religious institutions I do not feel are the way of God.

I think this year I will not return to the eating of animals. I always felt so good physically and mentally when eating this way.

I wish the best for those that are making sacrifices during this time. I would encourage those that want to better themselves to join in and better themselves during this time. If you believe or do not believe that is your choice, either way there are things we all can do to better ourselves. Doing it together gives us all more strength. I would also encourage the thought of creating lasting change for yourself rather then temporary sacrifice. Try changing the way you think and feel about your bad habits this will help you in making positive lasting change for yourself. The Best of Luck to All and God Bless!
